Jeannette Jason has 29 years of experience in commercial real estate land and building assemblages and adaptive reuse brokerage and investment. Jeannette is a Director on the Cushman Wakefield Florida Land Brokerage team specializing in urban infill, land, assemblages and adaptive reuse brokerage and development opportunities throughout the Tampa Bay region.
Previously, Jeannette founded DjG Tampa Inc., and served as President and Broker from 1990 through 2015 with an emphasis on downtown Tampa opportunities. As such, Jeannette was responsible for the assemblage and formation of partnerships for acquisition and redevelopment of approximately 121,000 square feet of land, and 250,000 square feet of former department store buildings, including the historically landmarked Kress Building and the former F.W. Woolworth, J.J. Newberry, and W.T. Grant Department store buildings in downtown Tampa. As a managing member for the partnerships, Jeannette assisted with asset acquisition negotiations, due diligence, investment packaging, joint venture partnership negotiations and formation, as well as asset disposition. Jeannette also led and coordinated all aspects of rezoning and entitlement efforts, leasing, property management, construction management and supervision.
